Completion of Gortadroma Capping Works

Located in the townland of Ballyhahill, Gortadroma landfill is the primary waste facility for County Limerick. The contract for the final capping of the waste 21,000m² of cells 16S & 14/16E consisted of shaping the waste to the required design profile, drilling of 8 new gas wells and installing a new gas network to connect into existing gas manifold. We also installed of new lechate recirculation network, placed lining layers, welded over the entire surface and then covered it subsoil & topsoil which was seeded with design mix grasses.
