Timoole Remediation Works 

Priority Construction Ltd were appointed by Meath County Council in October of 2017, to carry out the “Remediation” works at Timoole unauthorised landfill site in Rathfeigh, Co. Meath.

The works involve excavating the waste material and impacted material below the waste & removal of same to Knockharley Landfill site. The void will then be replaced with clean material and graded to match existing contours. 

Landfills produce methane gas and leachate as the waste material degrades, typically it takes 30 to 50 years for the material to become inert. Removing the waste will prevent environmental pollution. Pictured above at the contract signing are:
