Project: St. Mary’s Public Park Remediation, Limerick City
Value: €0.80 Million
Duration: July 2015 – October 2015
Client: Limerick City Council
This project involved the remediation of a 4-hectare unauthorised disposal site within St. Mary’s Public Park, a 13.5-hectare protected area on King’s Island between the River Shannon and River Abbey.
The works addressed significant environmental risks in this Special Area of Conservation by removing years of accumulated household waste that threatened local ecology and public amenity space.
